The American Association of University Women values and seeks a diverse membership. Our mission is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. Lifelong learning is a core value, and we work to break through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance. Our voices are heard on a wide range of public policy issues that relate to education, women’s health, economic opportunity and social justice. AAUW is one of the world’s largest funders of graduate education for women and the Pocatello branch often funds local scholarships for non-traditional women students at Idaho State University.
Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Students enrolled at Idaho State University, our university partner, receive a free e-student affiliation membership. Our meetings generally feature educational programs that are open to all interested members of the community.
