Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.  Student Affiliation is open to anyone who does not already hold an undergraduate degree and is enrolled in a two- or four- year regionally accredited educational institution.  Students enrolled at Idaho State University or another college/university partner may receive a FREE e-student affiliate membership.

There are no barriers to full participation in this organization because of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.

Membership Options and Dues

Individuals who do not already belong to AAUW may join for half price ($37) at a branch meeting event.  This Shape the Future discount applies for the first year of membership only. Attend one of our branch program meetings and pay these dues to our branch treasurer.  If you want a branch member to contact you personally, e-mail us at PocatelloAAUW@hotmail.com and you will be contacted shortly.  Otherwise, check out our Events page on this site and plan to attend the next meeting.

Shape the Future discounted dues: $37 all inclusive (state and national) first year only if you join at a Pocatello Branch event/meeting.

National dues: $59 ($56 are tax-deductible.)

State dues: $15

Branch dues: $0 for the Pocatello branch; dues across the state vary by branch

AAUW National Member: Join at the national level only. Annual dues are $59, payable to AAUW. Join online or call 1-800-326-AAUW for an application.

Student Affiliate:  Annual dues are $17 payable to the local branch.

E-Student Affiliate: Join free online.

Paid Life Membership: Exempts members from annual national dues, but local state and branch dues must still be paid.

Honorary Life Membership: 50-year members and others honored are exempt from all dues: national, state and branch.
